Civilians and law enforcement teams will soon face each other on the pitch in Jersey City in a very unique soccer tournament sponsored by The Soccer Learning Center. On Sunday, June 10, two groups comprised of local first responders and local civilians will battle it out for the 2012 U.S. Soccer Heroes Championship Cup and a cash prize of $500.
Any soccer enthusiast, age 21 and over, can register their team to play the afternoon tournament which will kick off at 3:00pm at the newly named Ed Faa Sports Complex, formerly Caven Field. The top civilian team will face the top law enforcement team for a chance to win the championship cup and a cash prize of $500.
